Ivanhoe was the best what could ever happen to us. He was not only beautiful, but also had an outstanding nature which will remain in our mind.
He was just great, up to every situation, without fear and never shy.
Self-confident, calm and friendly, an enviable character, really unique.
I remember very well the day Nov 18, 2002 when we picked the little dumpling up from the Bremers.
His weight was already 10 kg and he was a real bundle of power.
Ivanhoe was coming along nicely and he soon won our Nancy over. Both became inseparable.
The first show in Güthersloh at the beginning of April turned out to be a disaster. The breeder didn’t appear, we were complete newcomers,
we didn’t have the faintest idea how to present a dog. A crash course in the parking space, borrowed leash and collar,
and a mistress who couldn’t manage it … From that time we were certain we will never again rely on others, we never showed up anywhere unprepared.
Thousands of kilometers we travelled all over the country, we went to Austria, Denmark, and Slovakia.
Everywhere we showed our outstanding dog and had a good time with other dog lovers.
We really enjoyed it and were so happy to have such a fantastic dog. With Ivanhoe we spent the best time of our life.
Who knew him – knows what we’ve lost!
Our soreness is intense. Until today, we cannot understand why our Ivanhoe had to leave us so early.
The last 6 months of his life were sheer agony for him and for us. It is indeed terrible to look in the eyes of the beloved dog and to be unable to help.
We would have done everything… It was pure hell!
Today I’m mad at the veterinarians who didn’t make out the problem and always looked only for an organic defect.
Veterinarians who didn’t even listen to the description of symptoms, who didn’t let me finish speaking, and who immediately gave an injection.
However, the immune system was defect, probably a so-called vaccine damage.
An autoimmune disease and veterinarians without any treatment concept at all cost our darling the life.
